[19:31:43] Ina Centaur: buty she basically says "I smelled the blood... that's what makes me sick. It smells like rust... and salt."

[19:36:26] Ina Centaur: and... she admits she can smell blood...
[19:36:36] Ji Ni: wait, maybe that is what helps her resist the blood craze when she does get turned

[19:36:52] Ina Centaur: or maybe she's basically already ready to resist

[19:50:25] Ina Centaur: anxious, on edge... and, more than anything else, fascinated.

[20:29:02] Ina Centaur: i think it helps shed light on how much of an abomination he is
[20:29:07] Ina Centaur: rather.. how much of one he believes he is

[20:29:19] Ina Centaur: so in chapter 5... bella tells him she thinks he's dangerous, but not bad..
[20:29:24] Ina Centaur: ed was like, "you're wrong!"
[20:29:27] Ina Centaur: lol
[20:29:44] Ina Centaur: there's always that balance i guess..
[20:29:47] Ji Ni: if the author wanted the tension of keeping them apart something less contrived liek her being abducted outright by the volturi
[20:29:57] Ina Centaur: and i think the miracle is that this story worked out from the first person POV.
[20:30:38] Ji Ni: it is well done as a narrative
